In der Sektion Galleries habe ich eine kleine Zusammenstellung einiger Panorama-Aufnahmen eröffnet, die zwischen 2006 und 2008 aufgenommen wurden. Die Bilder entstanden in der Schweiz, in Frankreich und Italien. Sie wurden aus mehreren Einzelbildern zusammengerechnet (Stitching-Technik) und sind im Original zum Teil sehr grosse Dateien, die in der Qualität an Grossformataufnahmen herankommen oder sie sogar übertreffen.

I have added the section Panormas with some panoramic pictures shot in recent years in Switzerland, France and Italy. These panos have been stitched together on computer. The originals are files of sometimes 30 or more MP and surpass large format film quality, when 6 or more DSLR images are stitched together.

Broken trees in Switzerland. They tower above the growing young forest, replacing the areas destroyed by the "Lothar" hurricane in december 1999. Find three pictures here.

It was a long battle and it seemed almost lost. So the joy was even greater. Italian supporters celebrating their national team's 4th World Cup in Germany. The pictures were shot in Geneva.
